Bio: 陶敏，博士，南京大学数学系副教授。在南京大学获得学士、硕士和博士学位。2012-2013年在香港中文大学数学系从事博士后工作。研究领域包括可分凸规划，图像处理，算法收敛性分析。在SIAM Journal on Optimization， SIAM Journal on Imaging Science等国际期刊上发表数篇学术论文。其中发表在SIAM Journal on Optimization 2011年第21卷第2期上的论文至今被引用150余次，发表在SIAM Journal on Optimization 2012年第22卷第2期上的论文至今被引用近100次，是该刊11到12年间引用次数最多的论文。陶敏曾获南京大学、江苏省优秀博士学位论文奖和中国计算数学学会2011年优秀青年论文竞赛优秀奖，并荣获“2011运筹学与控制论博士生学术论坛最佳论文一等奖”。
