SCHOOL OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
NJU UG AI Workshop 2025
Location: School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University
Program Committee Chair: Professor Yang Yu, Professor Zongzhang Zhang
1. Description
The NJU UG AI Conference serves as a gathering hub for the AI research community at Nanjing University and stands as a key platform for the exchange of advanced research. We aim to make the 2025 edition a dynamic event for undergraduate students, not only for the presentation of high-quality research projects but also as a vibrant forum for thorough discussion of emerging trends, shared challenges, and future directions in artificial intelligence.
2. Venue
This paper development workshop is hosted by the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University, a leading institution in AI research and education in China.
The school fosters academic excellence through cutting-edge research, international collaborations, and outstanding student achievements across various AI subfields.
3. Basic Paper Requirements
- Language: English only
- Typesetting Tool: LaTeX
- Template: The arXiv standard LaTeX template, available via this Overleaf link:
https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates/arxiv-and-prime-ai-style-template/qdnhqytdqzsc
- Main Text Length: Maximum 6 pages (appendices are page-unlimited)
- Research Focus: Concentrate on a specific niche topic in AI for in-depth exploration (avoid broad themes). Topics can align with the textbook coverage, including:

- Reinforcement learning (e.g., Markov decision processes, Q-learning, policy gradients)
- Knowledge representation and reasoning (e.g., logic, semantic networks, ontologies)
- Black-box optimization (e.g., evolutionary algorithms, Bayesian optimization)
- Natural language processing (e.g., text classification, language models, sentiment analysis)
4. Reference Examples
Recommended to refer to the topic selection and structure of the following research papers (aligned with textbook coverage):
Core Feature: All examples focus on specific issues within the field of artificial intelligence, strictly aligning with the theoretical scope and topics covered in the textbook.
