The Task: Implement the Clustering method recently published in Science

Description:
  • Read the science paper
  • Implement this method, as well as the classic k-means algorithm.
  • Conduct clustering task on the previous data using both methods, compare the performance (using NMI measurement).
  • Write a brief report to show your results. According to your results, which one is better? If it is the science method, can you figure out why? If it is the k-means method, can you think of some other cases that the science method works better rather than on our post dataset? Can you have a try?

  • Please use this MSWord template to report your results.

    • NO submission after the deadline is acceptable!
